Taylor Reid Rocks His First Pro Win

Twelve months ago, Taylor Reid made his move from racing ITU draft legal Olympic racing to the non-drafting format.

Two weeks ago he had the break out race of his young pro career with a 2nd at 70.3 Mt. Tremblant and today raced away with his first pro win at the Challenge St. Andrews Half Ironman.

Taylor was 3rd out of the water, first off the bike and won by nearly 9 minutes.  His winning time of 3hrs 54 minutes was the second fastest time ever over the Challenge New Brunswick race.

To make things even more special his mother Peggy & Father Jim (both in the picture with Taylor) also did the race as well. The C3 Trio were joined by many other C3 members who filled the podium all day long.
