Press Release

Its been a busy year for Caledon's Andrew Yorke.   Twelve months ago the former Humberview High School grad was the top Canadian in 4th place at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland.  Yorke came home from those games with two fourth place finishes and a knowledge that he could race with the best in the world.  After a very big winter of hard training in Guelph Ontario and in South Carolina, he was 4th once again in a major race in New Zealand in the spring.  This past week, Andrew had over 500 Caledon based fans and family down in Toronto for the 2015 Pan Am Triathlon where he was the top Canadian once again in a very close 7th place finish.   "Honestly the course was too easy for Andrew's incredible biking strength and he came off the bike with a bigger pack then he would have normally seen had the bike been up on something tough like the Forks of the Credit Road" said his long-time C3 coach Barrie Shepley.   Shepley felt the pancake flat Lakeshore at the CNE didn't give Andrew the home-town benefit he would have liked to see.  "As much as it was great to have the race in Ontario, I would have selfihsly like to have seen the race up in Caledon on our tough roads, where I honestly believe Andrew would have had a legitimate chance to win the overall race" said Shepley.

Welcome to 2015 and Happy New Year to all!

As most of you will know by now from either attending our year end banquet or reading our web updates, 2014 was an exceptional and exciting year for C3. Membership was at an all time high, club members excelled on many, many levels, volunteers led the success of our events, PB coaching continued to add value to our programs and our HP Team left our mark around the world.

Now with 2015 upon us, we aim to carry this momentum into another exciting and even more dynamic year. Everything from our Mega Day’s to our quarry swim program will have new elements built into member experiences, adding even more value.  We encourage every past , new to be, or those considering membership  for the first time to choose our full-year ,full-program membership and then get out and experience the entire world of C3. No other club in Canada offers the value and the camaraderie you will experience here.  Not to mention training with World Champions, Olympic Athletes and Award Winning Coaches.
