C3 teammates are hosting the 2022 C3 Patricia Lopez Memorial Event. Patricia’s car was hit by a truck in Aug of 2020 on the way to a club workout. Patricia had used sport and exercise to alter her body and mind through training with her C3 teammates. Patricia did her first full Ironman in Sept 2019 in Italy. She and her teammates were training for the 2020 Ironman Arizona race when she was killed. Her teammates and her husband Luis Lopez want to keep Patricia’s incredible spirit alive and to help other women use sport as a positive force in their lives. All proceeds to the Patricia Lopez bursary to help women in sports.
